Mickey Mouse Handmade Photo Album

Working on a project.

I have the covers finished and the inside constructed.

It is a flip album with pockets.

I plan to make some Mickey Mouse Tags for the pockets

that can have photos on them.

The flip section on the right also allows for photos.

I have used some older Disney paper

I did a little bit different from Erin.  I used a 12 x 12" paper pad and black paper.

I used one 12 x 12" for the background instead of an all over print, so i had to put it down before the pockets so it would be continuous. I only used 3 12 x 12" designer papers to make this album along with about 3-4 black 12 x 12 sheets. 

**Tip- when cutting your cover using the black paper, save the part you cut off for the inside of your album.  Mine fit perfectly.

For the cover, i had some older Disney chipboard (plain gray) and painted it with black gesso and then painted it with black sparkle paint.

I used some Mickey and Minnie chipboard embellishments.

It was a good idea to get this done because i have just been saving crafts and needed to use them.

I will make another post when i get the inside done.

Roar Dinosaurs!

I am working on scrapbook pages for my Twin grandbabies.

I make the pages and my daughter-in-law or son will journal.

I chose the photos with the babies wearing their "dinosaur" shirts

and then went the theme of dinosaurs.

I used a bunch of scraps.

The scraps come from We Are 3 Digital Shop.

I also used 2 Cricut dinosaurs.

The Twins First Bath Time at Home!

This month has been super busy..

We have been watching our twin grandbabies part time for 3 weeks.

They live 2.5 hrs away

I had hoped to get a lot scrapped while i visited...ha ha

I have this one done and will be working on 2 more before the end of the month.

These two photos are from the twins first baths at home.

Killian is on the left and Gwyneth is one the right.

I tried out some new paint powder (Lindy's) to try to get the scrapbook layout sketch i  used.

I created this page using the scraps i had from cutting out squares for my cards.

The title was hand cut because i didn't bring my die cutting machine with me.

Beach Hats with Killian and Gwyneth

I can't believe it has been a couple of weeks since i last posted.

I have had these 3 photos printed at least that long.

I am so excited to create with this LO sketch, it was super fun.

A bit about this page:

(My son or daughter in law will be journaled once they receive this page for their book)

My twin grandkids were born March 8, a girl and a boy!

Their mom wanted to make sure that they were protected when they went to the beach,
so she purchased some hats and long sleeve swim suits that will protect their skin.

In this layout she has taken photos of their hats.

I left room under the photos to write with a white pen.

I had no idea that babies under 6 months couldn't use sunscreen.

Of course, i didn't have that concern when i was younger with my children, 

because i seldom went to the beach with babies.

i tend to love the shade or air conditioning.

My second challenge is to use digital paper. I have a ton of 12 x12 paper, 

which i use as the background, but i thought it would be special

 if my grandkids had some paper i designed on their pages.

I hand cut the banner tails, used a fiskars border punch and created the title with my cricut.

Welcome to the Family, Baby Killian

The May challenges have begun and i have been inspired to create already!

This month's challenge i chose to do is based on Saturday Morning Cartoons

This challenge theme is one of my daughter's favorite cartoons, Rainbow Brite!

When i look at Killian i can see my son when he was a baby.

He is so handsome!

For this Layout i chose pastel rainbow colors.

Also, my daughter-in-law calls her twins, Rainbow Babies.

She had 3 miscarriages and then had her miracle Rainbow Babies.

Welcome Baby Gywneth to our family!

I have been so excited to find another scrapbook challenge.

I am hoping that these challenges will get me back on track to making some more pages!

This is an exciting page because my daughter-in-law and son just had twin babies on March 8.

This page is our granddaughter, Gwyneth and i will be doing her brother's page next.

She is a darling little baby!

I am in a bit of a hurry to get this page done because i just found the challenge and it ends today!

Happy 10th Birthday, Sadie!

I haven't been making many pages as you can tell from my last post.

I have created Birthday Autograph pages for my grandchildren Yearly and i will share those soon!

I have also been making other scrapbook pages, but haven't uploaded them to this blog.

I will also update those here as well!

So exciting to say, that my granddaughter, Sadie turned 10 this year.

I saw this wonderful scrapbook layout and thought i would create it quickly this month.

What i didn't realize, is that my last post was for the same challenge that i created this layout for!!

Since i last share here, i have been creating digital paper and selling it on Etsy!

All of the scraps are from my digital papers!

I have left plenty of room for Sadie to journal in the upper right hand corner too!

I also used my cricut to cut out the "Happy Birthday" and the #10
